And We're Off..........well almost!

In June of 2013 Ron received a phone call of a lifetime!  The call came from Provo, and the office of the Jerusalem Center.  The question was posed to him, "How would you and your wife like to live in Israel and teach at the Jerusalem center for a year?"  After a very brief, like two second brief, consideration.....the path of our future changed.

Since last year we have been preparing ourselves for the experience of a lifetime.
Tell kids...check.
Renew passports...check.
Tanner married to Alicia...check.
Incredible family reunion...check.
Maddie and Tanner Colby move in house to babysit my plants...check.
280 lbs. worth of bags packed...check.
Crossing fingers until we actually fly out in four days...check!

I'm not much of a blogger or journal writer but at the request of our children and close family and friends this will be my attempt to share our journey with you.

Check in every once in awhile and we will share pictures, stories, security updates and adventures.  We will miss our grandchildren and children...yes in that order...and our many wonderful other family members and friends, but this is an experience we have prayed for for years.

Be safe in our absence and we look forward to sharing our life with you.

  6. I am glad you are writing this down. It makes it easy to remember plus the rest of the world gets to share in your experience. When I saw where you were I was a bit worried then I remembered that the Anderson family is watched over by many angels. I admire the fact that you are willing to live your life and not merely watch it pass you by. Good luck on this next sdventure. Dianne McCullock
